JOB STATEMENT

 

 

 

This position assures a product specialist competence on PG Synthetic Media, PG Wire Media and PG Lining within PL Screening Media Solutions towards distributors, direct sales and end users as well as OEM's. Primary activities will include Market area product strategy

and Market area list price management ,Market area process and application specialist support  at product line level as well as to ensure that the Market area intelligence collection and feedback process is suficent. The Regional Product Support Manager will participate and closely interact with MA sales team to support execution of the market product sales strategy and action plan for the related products for the specific market area.

 

The Regional Product support manager will create a clear focus on growth of MCT sales of the related products via pro active actions and initiatives. Thinking in terms of a high service and support level and building confidence, the Regional Product support manager will liaise with the Global Product Management and MA sales team. In addition, the Regional Product support manager will be able to conduct established product training programs both internal and external.

 

The Regional Product Support manager should also manage to plan and execute on site installation supervision, process and performance inspections.

 

 

 
 
 
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Market area product  strategy

·       Market area list price management and price support to MA sales team

·       Market area process and application specialist support  at product line level

·       Market area intelligence collection and feedback process

·       Technical and engineering support

·       Application and process support

·       Warranty support and problem solving

·       Installation and Inspection support on site

·       Support and coordination on complex quotes etc.

·       Product selection and product configuration support for the general and fairly complex application areas.

·       Conduct internal product training programs.

·       Enhance end customers, distributors and OEM's knowledge of the related products by conduction external product training programs.

·       Support implementing market product strategies for the related products together with MA sales team.

·       Execute and review the result of the Market and Product strategy agenda within the respective area.

·                  Establish and maintain a good company image by ensuring all MCT customer contact points get a high competence application, process and up-to-date product support.

·                  Regularly travel with MCT field sales resources to support selling efforts, monitor distribution resource competencies and end user satisfaction. Work with the MCT sales teams on required corrective actions.

·                  Plan end customer visits aligned with the MCT sales team.

·                  Interact and participate as a part of the MCT Sales team at the specific markets and be aligning with their processes.

·       Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

Degree in Engineering

 

Minimum 4-5 years field experience from the related products

 

High demand on up to date technical product specialist knowledge

 

High demand on the process and application knowledge related to the mining and construction industry.

 

Very high competence required particularly on screening media applications related to the crushing and screening process within the mining and construction industry.

 

Very high competence required particularly on wear and flow promtion applications related to the material handling process within the mining and construction industry.

 

Experience in complex matrix relationships

 

High understanding of and experience of sales

 

High understanding of and experience of support role. 

 

A strong understanding of core processes of the MCT customer base.

·       Climbing of stairs, ladders, scaffolds at jobsites and customer facilities.

·       Full drivers license with clean drivers record

·       Native languish fluid both verbal and written as well as acceptable English
