JOB STATEMENT

 

The purpose of this job is the total management of an Equipment manufacturing factory to world class standards

 

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Manage the Production Unit and plan, coordinate and control all activities related to the production processes, development of new technologies, productivity and cost.

 

·         Compile the annual Budget, defining the objectives, goals and actions of the production unit, with the purpose of achieving the Budget.

 

·         Plan actions for the Production Area in order to execute the previous established monthly plan.

 

·         Coordinate and define preventive and corrective actions along with the quality representative in the processes inherent to the Quality Assurance System, and removal of non-conformities.

 

·         Participate in the development of new products, conduct studies, analyze the production capacity and other relevant factors in order to present proposals for same.

 

·         Manage the Coordinators of the Production Area giving technical support and guidelines related to the production processes to achieve productivity and quality improvement.

.

·         Participate in management meetings, and interact with the other professionals of the Organization in order to exchange experiences and debate issues of interest to the general development.

 

·         Develop directive plan to achieve changes in the organization for the expansion, compliance to the norms, process improvement, cost reduction and technological update aiming to maintain market competitiveness.

 

·         Manage activities related to Employees, such as supporting individual needs, performance review and evaluation, goal setting, mentoring, training, guidelines regarding the Organization concepts, recruitment and exit, and taking measures to solve problems or disputes.

 

·         Support Finance, and participate in the changes and reviews to be performed in the pre-established budget plan for the Production Area.

 

·         Compile and present management reports and Key performance indicators referent to own area of responsibility.

 

·         Periodically review the installed production capacity versus the demand forecast, and identify opportunities and needs, in order to identify and motivate changes in installed capacity so as to ensure optimum utilization and also adequate capacity to meet market requirements.

 

·         Secure the compliance to technical specifications and quality norms of the products, and manage and control the pertinent activities to fulfill same.

 

·         Secure the collaboration of the Production Area in the maintenance of the Quality System and the ISO Certification, by spreading the quality culture among the professionals under the responsibility of Production Manager and by encouraging the fulfillment of pre-established norms in the Quality Manual.

 

·         Participate and promote other related professional activities pertinent to the Job, according to the guidance and request of management.
